Founded in Dubai in 2019 by perfumer Mariam Al Suwaidi, with one oud and a small atelier in Al Quoz.
The perfumer
One nose,
eight perfumes.
Mariam trained in Grasse and spent a decade composing for houses in Paris before coming home to Dubai. She still smells every batch before it is bottled.
The making
Distilled where
it grows.
Roses are distilled in Taif each April, frankincense comes from Dhofar, and oud is aged for at least three years before we use it. We blend in small batches in Dubai.
The atelier
Small batches,
numbered by hand.
Each perfume rests for six weeks before it is filtered and bottled. Every bottle carries a batch number written by the person who filled it.
